In this article we see a young artist drawing with chinese ink (Monique wasn’t going to paint on canvas until 2 years later).
The artist used to live on the Island Ibiza for some great length of time, working as a ceramic artist by day and dedicating herself to her more autonomous works (drawings and instalations made with chinese ink and watercolor) by night.
Monique states that her time on Ibiza has given her the right mix of energy, inspiration and oportunity to develop her way in becoming a visual artist.
