Inspiration from the dutch impresionists: Red Mill painting, Mondriaan.
Dossier de inspiraciones pictóricas: Piet Mondriaan, pintor holandés conocido por su obra abstracta de colores primarias.
Menos conocido es su “época impresionista” cual presidió estos cuadros lineales tan presente en la mente de muchos amantes del arte.
Rindo homenaje a la investigación que cumplió este artista sobre el terreno de composición, harmonias y equilibros para los espectadores y entiendo que esto es su grañ añadido al mundo artistico,
pero, personalmente me gustan mucho mas sus obras impresionistas.
En estos cuadros se encuentran ya los primeros pasos de su busqueda, por su lineas de horizontales y verticales. Se saborea y sus reflexiones sobre los colores y sus efectos.
En mi última estancia en los Paises Bajos tuvo la oportunidad de ir al Gemeente Museum de la cuidad de La Haya.
Ahi se alberga una grande colección de cuadros de Mondriaan.
Algunos años atrás hubo una exposición solo de sus obras y me recordó quedarme asombrada ante la obra temprana del pintor.
Este vez, aún conociendo la obra, me quedé de nuevo asombrada, intrigada, hipnotizada ante varias de sus cuadros.
En especial: el molino rojo.
Lamento no haber encontrado una reproducción mejor, donde se vea como vibran los colores que el pintor ha contra-puestos.
Estudié bien el cuadro y decidí investigar este efecto de colores vibrantes en uno de mis “beauties”.
Veo que mi blog quita algo de radiación del rojo, que los colores usados parecen todos naranjas.
A lo mejor es porque la informatica no estan acostumbrada contrastes tan profundas y que automaticamente “equilibran” los colores un poco.
De hecho, me quedé muy contenta no solamente con la investigación cual fue un camino muy interesante, sino también con el resultado.
Y lo gracioso?
De repente vi que no solo la inspiración objetivo fue Holandés,
sino que el tema pintada me recuerda a otro gran cuadro que se puede ver en La Haya:
La chic con la perla, del pintor Vermeer!!!

His “impressionist period” which presided the linear painting is far less known.
And I have to say: I pay tribute to research and the investigation that this great artist did in the field of composition, harmony and balance.
But personally: I enjoy so much more his impressionistic works.
Already visible in these paintings are the first steps of his research, early investigations of horizontal and vertical lines drawn troughout the surface.
Bravely (like many other impressionists) trying out new ways of combining colors.
During my last stay in the Netherlands had the opportunity to go to the Gemeente Museum in the city of The Hague.
It holds one of the largest collection of paintings of Mondriaan.
Some years ago there was a solo exhibition of his works and I remember me to be very amazed at the painter’s early work.
This time, although prepared more or less about what I was going to see, I got astonished again!
There I stood: dazzeled, intrigued, mesmerized in front of his paintings.
One struck me in particular: The red mill.
I am sorry not have found a better reproduction, where colors match better the real painting.
Studying the painting from upclose, I decided to investigate this vibrant color effect in one of my next my “beauties.”
I see that my blog fades some of the red radiation, which make all the colors seem all orange.
Maybe it’s because the interface is not used to have to reproduce such profound contrasts and automatically “balances” the colors a bit.
The investigation on the colors-scale was a very interesting, but I am also very happy with the result:
And the funny thing?
Suddenly I saw that not only the aim was of Dutch inspiration,
but also the painted theme reminds me of another master painting that can be seen in The Hague:
The girl with the pearl, of the grand master-painter Vermeer!
